District Salutes Oldest Residents

Centenarians to be recognized as the District’s oldest living treasures

(Washington, D.C.)  The DC Office on Aging will host the 30th Annual Salute to District of Columbia Centenarians. More than 30 centenarians are scheduled to attend a luncheon held to honor their lives. The Social Security Administration estimates that there are more than 300 residents who are 100 years old or older in the District of Columbia.
