The DC Office on Aging is hosting the Mayor’s Fifth Annual Senior Symposium at the historic Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School located 101 N Street, NW, Washington, DC 20002 on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 8:45 am-3 pm. This year’s theme—Healthy Living. Healthy Hearts. Healthy Homes.—includes wide-ranging topics on what it means to live well.
The symposium will include an opening plenary session followed by workshops on a variety of topics relevant to seniors in the District. These topics include those related to healthcare, technology, elder justice, housing, senior villages, caregivers support, accessing government resources, long-term care planning, and more.
This event is free and open to the public. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to all registered attendees.
