The District of Columbia Office on Aging launches the newly developed Ambassador Academy. The agency will coordinate free and informative workshops for community members on diverse and important topics.

- Learn important steps to provide help to individuals 50+, pregnant, with a chronic medical condition, children 6+ months, and high risk individuals.
- Find out about available community resources in the District of Columbia and identified distribution sites (shelter, medication, food, medical attention, and supplies) in all Wards.
- Understand safety plans, checklists, proper ways to build emergency kits and how to sign-up for emergency alerts.
