Kennedy Senior Wellness Center's Ribbon Cutting and Open House The Kennedy Senior Wellness Center, formerly the Kennedy Theatre, located in Ward 4 is now the largest of the four wellness facilities for seniors in the District. Last month, many DC residents and dignitaries were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house. Photos were taken by Adrian R. Reed. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and Dr. Clarence Brown, executive director of the Office on Aging, greet centenarian Ruth Marshall who had just celebrated her 100th birthday. Ms. Marshall is a daily participant of the Model Cities Senior Wellness Center in Ward 5.
