Outreach

The DC Office on Aging (DCOA) provides publicity on available resources and services, and makes a special effort to identify high risk, hard-to-reach, frail and vulnerable elderly persons and/or other types of potentially eligible older persons who could benefit from aging services and other public benefits. Through health care listings, insurance counseling, and printed materials, our outreach efforts attempt to reduce barriers for potential applicants and encourage eligible persons to enroll in public benefits programs. DCOA funds a network of service providers - the Senior Service Network - operating programs for senior citizens. Learn more by clicking on the links below.
